Established in 1924, five generations of the Nerney family have worked at the Knobby Krafters. In the early days we produced costume and emblematic jewelry in Attleboro, MA, still known as the birthplace of the Jewelry Industry of America. We still occupy the same factory today. In the mid 1940’s William Nerney came to The Knobby Krafters to work with his parents, Lester and Gladys Nerney bringing with him a background in plastics. It seemed a logical transition from emblematic jewelry in metal to plastic lapel pins.
In the 1970’s the Advertising Specialty Industry found us and we moved from word of mouth sales to thousands of advertising specialty distributors. Through the 80’s and 90’s we often ran three shifts six days a week. On occasions like the Gulf War and 9/11, we produced over one million plastic American flag pins and yellow ribbon pins per week.
We are the All- Time leading manufacturer of Made in the USA lapel pins to the promotional products industry.
We appreciate the loyalty of our customers and their support throughout the years.
